A window is a program's frame on the screen — the box a program draws itself inside. Every program you run gets one, and everything you can do to a program's window, you can do to any program's window.
That is the single most useful fact in this module: the frame is the same everywhere. Once you can move, size and arrange one window, you can do it to a word processor, a browser, a photo viewer or a program written twenty years from now.
